JCA School Program
Bringing Torah-Based Combat Arts to Your Students
Rabbi Hartford brings the full JCA curriculum directly to your yeshiva or Jewish day school — structured classes, belt rank advancement, and Torah-integrated martial arts for your student body.
What Every Session IncludesWe begin with a 10–15 minute live demonstration for students and faculty — real techniques, sling display, and a Torah thought. No commitment required.
Classes run 45–60 minutes, 1–3 times per week, scheduled around davening, learning seder, and school hours.
Content is calibrated per grade level — foundational games for younger boys, advanced drills and self-defense for older students.
Every class includes a brief Torah thought connecting the technique to halacha, middos, or Jewish history.
Students progress through the Sefirot belt system, earning promotions through skill tests and merit milestones.
The merit journal is woven into every class — tracking character growth across the ten Sefirot categories.
JCA is open to Jewish men and boys of all ages and fitness levels. No prior martial arts experience is required. All programs are designed to meet students where they are — beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
JCA offers women's self-defense classes conducted with full tznius standards. Classes are gender-separated and led by a female instructor. Contact us to inquire about current availability.
